By now, you should know the official firmware update for the Apple AirPod is now available.
The update includes the following changes: Apple AirPod: The new firmware brings with it a number of bug fixes, new features and improvements, as well as some major security fixes.
The biggest of the new features is the addition of support for the latest AirPOD firmware version, R7000P.
A lot of other new features have been added as well, including support for dual-camera configurations, a new Siri feature that enables you to ask Siri directly, and an updated FaceTime integration.
In addition to the aforementioned fixes, this update adds some improvements to the camera app, including a redesigned interface that’s easier to use and more convenient.
The latest firmware also brings with itself a number new features, including new Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functionality, the ability to switch between Wi-Faces and FaceTime, and the ability for Siri to send voice commands to the Apple Watch.
The iOS app has also received a few improvements, with the new “Quick Access” feature allowing you to quickly access your camera settings from the home screen.
In short, this is a significant update for both the Apple TV and Apple Airpods.
What’s in the update?
While it’s a bit difficult to go into detail, we can say with certainty that this firmware update is the latest in Apple’s attempts to update the AirPoys firmware.
Although the AppleTV is the only product that can now use the updated firmware, the AirPod has been updated as well.
And, as the name suggests, the update also includes support for a brand new firmware version.
How do I upgrade my AirPod?
You can update your AirPod by going to Settings, Update, and then the “About This Update” section.
If you don’t have an AppleTV, or if you’re having issues updating, you can update the firmware from within the Settings app.
