If you’re a bit of a DIY junkie, you could probably get your hands on a custom firmware image that works on a Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 edge (the latest model is the RBR50).
You can buy the firmware for £25 ($37).
The image you get, which is called the Orbis RBR 50, is based on the latest version of Samsung’s mobile operating system.
There’s a firmware update that’s available now that should improve things, but if you want a more complete experience, you can grab the firmware directly from the company.

To get started, follow the steps below to flash the firmware image on your Samsung device.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll be prompted to sign into your Samsung account and select the firmware you want to install.
The Samsung Galaxy OS app will prompt you to enter a username and password, and once you’re done, you should be able to download the firmware file.
Note: If you have a Galaxy S4 or S5 device that doesn’t have an Orbis app installed, you will need to download it yourself.
How do you install Orbi on Android devices?
Android devices don’t currently have a firmware installation option, so you’ll have to manually download the latest firmware image for your device from Samsung.
Open the Android app, then click the menu icon at the top-left of the screen and select “Firmware update”.
The firmware file should appear.
Select it and tap “Install now”.
To install the image on a Nexus device, you need to follow these steps: Go to the settings screen.
Tap “Manage apps” and select Android.
Scroll down to “Install images” and tap the “Download firmware” button.
Select the Orbis rBR 50 firmware image you downloaded earlier, and tap install.
How can I install the Orbs firmware image?
Once you have the Orbys rBR49 firmware installed, it will ask you to set a password.
You’ll be asked to choose a password for your Orbi account, and it will be necessary to confirm this.
After you’ve completed the login process, you may be prompted for a password again.
You should now be prompted with a new password prompt.
You can tap the password prompt to create a new one.
This new password will only take effect once you log back in to your Orbs account.
Once this process is complete, you’re ready to install Orbs on your device.
How much does Orbi cost?
The Orbi RBR49 has a retail price of £26 ($39).
For $100 ($160) less, you might be able access the full functionality of Orbs from a Samsung tablet, with an option to access the latest Android version and Android app features.
For $250 ($400), you can use the Orbcubed Orbi experience.
For a whopping $500 ($800), you get access to a Samsung phone that comes with Orbi and an Orbs app, with a lot of customisation options.
